|(Christian Louboutin- Very Riche Nude Strass heels. Approximately $4,000)|
It's one of those late nights where I cant help but be distracted by the urge to write about something. With a nasty case of writers block plaguing me for the last few days, I found myself seeking solace in the television. One would think with hundreds of channels, I could find something to entertain myself but there are only so many re-runs of Millionaire Matchmaker a girl can watch. That's when I came across the comedy flick, "She's Out Of My League" and it had me thinking about things that are, well, out of my league. You can scan pages of magazines and browse the sales section of Blue Fly, but with a very average household income, how many people can really justify purchasing a pair of $2,000 shoes that are on the current path to trendiness? Don't get me wrong, I love a good trend, no matter how ridiculous it may be, but is my refusal due to future un-trendy circumstances or just cause I can't technically afford it? Given my current income, I can justify buying a pair of classic Louboutin's in say, nude or black, by telling myself that they will always be in style. Now, what about the classic Louboutin that's strassed in rhinestones? Would you buy them if you could, or are they just essentially out of your league?
